Travellers heading north from Wiluna along the Canning Stock Route have indicated that they were unaware that areas each side of the Route between Wells 5 to 15 are subject to Native Title, held by the Birriliburu Martu people. More info »

ANFWDC is a member of the United Four Wheel Drive Association known commonly as UFWDA. There are now two links on this website to provide readers with access to UFWDA and its quarterly magazine and monthly e - news. The quarterly magazine "VOICE" has been refocussed to provide expedition reports on long off road journeys completed by responsible clubs in their home countries.
Australia has some spectacular Outback routes and members are encouraged to provide their club trip reports for consideration. We may encourage a new type of overseas tourist to visit our country and enjoy what we know is so unique by promoting our trips to overseas based UFWDA members and magazine readers. We may even see US clubs organising a trip through the Outback. Members will find details on where to send their reports in the magazine.
